August 2021

It’s been sometime since an update. The business has been busy and we have now launched our most recent Nordic Folkboat restorations.
They are simply stunning examples of this timeless classic, remembering that next year celebrates 80 years of the design. GBR 612 Cidron Two will compete at its first event this month, Folkboat Week as will GBR 669 (ex So! v2.0)) and GBR 673 (ex So! v1.0). The latter two boats have started the season strongly, GBR 669 first outing at Cowes Classic week, securing a 3rd overall (tied on points for second, against our very first boat), as the team tested new systems with the latest winch less controls proving to be extremely effective.
The second outing against 23 Folkboats at The Tattinger Regatta, at The Royal Solent in July saw the team winning this coveted trophy.
As for GBR 673, they secured second overall in the Royal Lymington Thursday night series, and were close to first on their inaugural series. All owners are delighted with their boats, and they are proving to be extremely quick boats, sailed by talented crews.
